The Bibliotheca Malabarica is an annotated catalogue of Tamil manuscripts gathered through the missionary Bartholomäus Ziegenbalg in the course of his first years in India (1706–1708). The 3rd element of this catalogue, including 119 entries protecting works of Hindu and Jaina provenance, presents a desirable perception into Tamil literary works in extensive flow at the eve of colonialism.
